        Dear Parents/Guardians: As the year draws to a close, our school events and field trips are coming at a faster pace and closer together. I want to thank all of the parents who have been supportive in your children’s classes this year – even if it was for one event. It makes all the difference in the world when parents/grandparents are involved in San Felipe’s moments of learning, which don’t only happen in the classroom during their daily lessons. I am so proud of our Middle School students for doing such a terrific job on their Science Fair projects.         January 26, 2013 Dear Parents/Guardians: I hope you've all been doing well with your children being back in their school routine these past few weeks. Routine and organization help children with their learning. As parents, you should try to ensure that your children have a daily routine when they come home from school. Homework is given to students by teachers to reinforce what they learn in class daily. It's important that your children find a quiet place to complete their work. This area should also be within close distance to you so that if they have questions or need help, you can give it to them. (read more...)
